Mottled Leach

The Mottled Leach is a small worm fly with a weighted head and marabou tail which give the fly a very lively movement in both still as well as running water. Give it a try in other colors than the shown mottled brown - hot colors like orange, yellow or white perhaps combined with black can really provoke the fish to take but on the other hand more natural colors like olive, black and brown can be the trick for more spooky fish. This time we once again had Jesper Lindquist Andersen behind the vice to show another easy to tie yet very effective for alll sorts of flyfishing.

Long story longer

The Global FlyFisher has been online since the mid-90's and has been free to access for everybody since day one – and will stay free for as long as I run it.
But that doesn't mean that it's free to run.
It costs money to drive a large site like this.
